Kidou Tenshi Angelic Layer

genre: Action / Drama

Suzuhara Misaki has just moved in with her aunt in Tokyo to attend a new junior high school. Misaki, from rural Wakayama is new to the hustle and bustle of a major centre. However, just after stepping of the train in Tokyo, Misaki is enraptured by the very popular fighting game Angelic Layer of which a battle was showing on a building-side TV screen. Wanting to take part in the game, Misaki decides to build her own angel and learn to do battle. Like herself, she decides to raise a small, light angel. Her name? Hikaru...

Suitable for General Audiences Based on the first two episodes, this is a light action / drama series. There is one bathing scene when opening the Angel egg, but no detail is seen. Also, Icchan's character is a touch unusual, but mostly in a comic relief sense. There is fighting violence, but this is of the "angels" themselves.
