[ rated pg ] Sorcerous Stabber Orphen

A Parent's Guide to Anime
Rated: PG
Parental Guidance Advised

Reviewed by Jane Nagatomi:

Five years ago on Talon's Peak, a grave accident happened involving the magical sword Baltoandeles and the magic user Azali. Unable to control the sword's power, Azali was transformed into the shape of a great dragon who since that day became known as Bloody August. Kiridanshera, a young magician at the Peak who cared greatly for Azali found much to his disgust that the elders of the Peak were less than willing to save Azali and seemingly wanted to pretend the accident never happened. Angered by their stand, Kiridanshera swore that he would find a way to return Azali to her former self. Thus he forsook the name Kiridanshera and declared himself Orphen, leaving the Peak and his magical studies behind to wander the world.

Over a year ago, the magician Orphen had come to the great city of Totocanta, one of four major cities on the continent. By all appearnaces, Orphen has been doing no work and spends his days watching the mansion "Everlasting". What is in the mansion which captures his attention so, or could it be that the daughter of the house living there has captured his fancy?

Parent's Guide Rating:

yellow (parental guidance advised)

Violence: A fair amount of violence here as well as some blood. Several scenes involving attempts to kill Bloody August especially. The damage sustained to Bloody August does not get healed and so it's appearance becomes more and more bloody as the series progresses.

Nudity: Full body nudity for Azali especially in the mid-latter parts of the series. Childman is also shown nude but with no discernable detail.
