Ayane's High Kick Review by Grant Beaudette High school student Ayane Mitsui dreams of becoming a professional wrestler. After failing an audition, she meets Kunimitsu Tangei, who promises to make her a champion. After weeks of rigerous training, it's time for her debut. When she enters the ring, she learns that she has been decieved into becoming a kickboxer. The remainder of the movie involves Ayane's struggle to: 1) Keep from getting kicked out of school by the Vice-Principal, who objects to her kickboxing. 2) Defeat Kickboxer Sakorako Miagwa, who has it in for Ayane. Parent's Guide Rating:green (suitable for family viewing) This film is very clean by Anime standards. Slightly more risque than Sailor Moon. Content Warnings: Language: A couple damns. That's it. Sexual Innuendo: Two uses of the word 'pervert.' Violence: If you havn't noticed, this movie is about kickboxing. But, it's still less violent than most TV shows.
