My wife got me started on anime. Don't miss Lain, Nausicaa, Rurouni Kenshin, Samurai X (if you don't mind violence, and love a good story), Princess Mononoke, Laputa: Castle in the Sky, anything with Hakao Miyazaki's name on it, including grout remover and breakfast cereals, and Battle Angel (which bears an uncanny resemblence to TV's Dark Angel). I'm the oldest of five children, and am in the Air Force (which gives me access to lots of anime and lots of other people with anime).
