This is a great show for almost all ages. The characters are great, and the show is exciting, but not violent.
The story focuses on a young detective (he seems to be around the age of 12) and his friend Ling Ling, a nurse. Mainly the show involves the two characters fighting bad guys (most of the actual fighting is done by the young boy).
The only real problem I have with this show is how they portray women as damsels in distress. At least in the first video I could see that Ling Ling really was just going to sit on the sidelines and cheer. The rest of the show is actually quite family safe, and quite enjoyable.
Parent's Guide Rating:
yellow (parental guidance advised)
Sex/Nudity: Everyone is fully clothed. The only thing I would see as a problem is the form fitting costume of Red Scorpine.
Violence: The main character has a gun, but mostly it shoots off strange projectiles. There are a few battles but they are between robots, so there is no blood or gore. Several robots do get pretty torn up though.
Language: The language doesn't really pass American tv, but Red Scorpine is called a b*tch once by a child. There are a some other mild swears.
