What's so significant about Guu speaking with a Kansai accent?
The Kansai dialect is often perceived as being too direct and open, and can be somewhat threatening for non-Kansai Japanese. Moreover, Kansai dialect is often used in comedy and is therefore associated with comedy routines. Hence Hare's confusion, can surly Guu possibly be making a joke?!
