  Things are taking a bit longer than expected to get fully familiarised with everything here in the Café again, but we're getting there! For those of you who have written a review for the Parent's Guide to Anime, please be patient. Editing has been a bit of a lower priority for the past while, however I will have lots of time in the next few days to take care of it as, unfortunately, I have to pop back to Japan to retrieve my belongings which were left behind. Worse though! I'm probably just going to miss the opening of the new Conan movie which is slated for a Golden Week start! Of all the rotten luck! Otherwise, the response to the current bi-monthly contest is quite promising and it'll be interesting to see the results of the poll. Oh! And there is a new review up for Magic Knight Rayearth Episode 1 in the Café.

  It is with great sorrow that I must inform the Café denizens of a most unfortunate accident which happened on March 23. Akio, who has been caring for and updating the Café on such a regular basis passed away. As such, updates will slow down over the next while as I (Jane) get re-acquainted with both HTML and the full extent of the site (and also recover from jet-lag following my return from Japan). I do hope that you will all understand the difficult times that my family as well as the Café will be going through over the next while, and I promise to reply to the e-mails which have been piling up. Likewise, unreplied to e-mails on Akio's desk will also be gotten to over the next few weeks once I pull them from his system. The Café has grown a great deal compared to when I'd left for Japan (almost 3 years ago) and it will take time to get fully re-acquainted with everything, so I do hope that you will be patient over the next while.
