Moldiver

genre: comedy / science-fiction / mecha

In the 21st century, technology has progressed to make human life more comfortable than anyone has ever imagined possible. Yet even in the future, evil exists... and it's bane is Captain Tokyo, a mysteriously-garbed superhero with unimaginable powers -- thanks to the development of Moldiver, an incredible technological breakthrough which can locally control the laws of physics at will.

This wonderfully light-hearted, tongue-in-cheek science-fiction comedy is produced and distributed world-wide by Pioneer LDC Inc., and is available in subtitled, dubbed and close-captioned bilingual LD. Pioneer also does another marvelous job of stuffing the video-tape clamshells with postcards and posters to the point where you won't be able to close them after you've removed the shrink wrap.

nudity
violence

Parental Guidance Advised - This series is targeted for the young grade-schooler, so you won't find very many objectionable items. Perhaps the most obvious is the occasional scene involving nudity, though these are entirely non-sexual in nature, and done in very Disney-like manner.
