David lives in Coralville, Iowa and is occasionally a student at the University of Iowa, studying computer science (when he has the money to pay for classes). He's also teaching himself to read and write Japanese and is learning to design and write codes for web pages. He works at the Comfort Inn, cleaning motel rooms, and also washes dishes two nights a week.

His favorite anime: the list keeps growing as he sees more of it. Here are some gems that he's discovered that aren't getting the attention they deserve: Yawara, KO Century Beast Warriors, Irresponsible Captain Tyler.
