Cute little Lina Inverse

Slayers

genre: comedy / fantasy

Meet Lina Inverse... Your not-so-typical, magic-wielding bandit killer. Cute as a button, and armed to the teeth with magic spells that make tactical nuclear weapons seem like firecrackers. In other words, she's your everyday anime heroine. Aided by her loyal sidekicks, including the powerfully skilled (and incredibly dense) swordsman/mercenary Gourry Gabriev, Lina's out to try to prevent -- what else -- the destruction of the world as she knows it... or so she thinks. Of course, making a little profit along the way would be strictly an added side benefit. Fast-paced humour and great dialog make for great tongue-in-cheek fun. TV series distributed in North America by Software Sculptors, the movie is distributed by A.D.V. Films.

nudity
violence

Parental Guidance Advised - A couple of scenes of rear nudity, and several references to Lina's small chest and 'that time of month', but if you watch any TV at all, you've pretty much seen all this before. Lots of Saturday-morning style silly violence, and people do get killed. Not squeaky clean, but for the most part, it's harmless.

The Slayers Motion Picture has more intense scenes, more graphic violence, and a lot more suggested skin.
