Virtua Fighter

genre: Action / Martial Arts / Game

Akira Yuki wanders into Los Angeles on a journey. He is called Virtua Fighter and is a master of Hakkyoku-ken. He meets Pai, daughter of the Koenkan leader, who doesn't want anything to do with the Koenkan or Yan Weimin, the man she is to marry. The pair teams up against the Koenkan and meets others, including Jacky and Sarah Bryant, who join their journey. No matter how hard they try, they can't escape the Koenkan, but they have no trouble taking care of themselves against their enemy.

Virtua Fighter is distributed by the AnimeWorks division of Media Blasters in North America

[ rated pg ]

violence

Parental Guidance Advised - Although AnimeWorks rates this 3+, this probably deserves a PG rating due to the violence. As can be expected from a fighting video game based series, there are a lot of fights. Even young children are involved, including the adults telling the young children to severely hurt other children. This is definitely not for young children.
