Kyosuke's power splits him during an accident. His body lies in a hospital in critical condition, while his spirit and shadow self are propelled three years into the future. There he must find his future self, who has mysteriously disappeared while photographing war scenes in Bosnia, and find a way to return to his body in the past or he will die.
This second Kimagure Orange Road movie is considerably more mature than prior Orange Road shows and the first movie, showing the characters as adults to their fans who have also become adults. Although this is an extremely good movie, the subject is darker and there is some nudity and a strongly sexual sub-theme throughout. I would recommend that parents watch this movie first before deciding whether to allow their children and teens to see it.
