• October 23

  A couple of reviews are now up for the Vision of Escaflowne (original, not the Fox kids edit). Elsewhere, Ah Megamisama the Movie has now opened in Japan. The lucky folks out that way, might want to take a look at it. Several new reviews have since been posted to the Parent's Guide to Anime including: Digimon, Urusei Yatsura (TV), Vampire Miyu (TV), Wings of Honneamise (edited version/British), and Yu Yu Hakusho. For those who have submitted but haven't heard from me yet, patience please...





• October 15

  A review is now up for the second Earthian OAV. Also, as requested, we have now put up a New Releases section to the "What's New" area of the Cafe. For those of you who want to know what's coming out in North America and Japan both, this is the list for you!

  Elsewhere, there's good news from the folks at THEM Reviews! It seems that they're back again and have a quite a number of new reviews posted on their site. Other news in the grapevine includes a rumour that Escaflowne has not been doing as well as hoped by the folks at Fox kids and will therefore be yanked from the TV schedule as of October 28th. In response, we've been asked to post a link to an on-line petition to try to keep the series on the airwaves. For the Canucks out there watching Vision of Escaflowne on YTV however, it's anyone's guess as to what will happen to the rest of the series.





• September 30, 2000

  A new review is now up for Earthian OAV 1 along with associated encyclopaedia, Parent's Guide and trivia entries. We're also toying with the idea of putting up a manga review section for various titles, but haven't hammered out the details as yet. If you want to give suggestions or share ideas, now's the time to let us know! Otherwise, there is also a new editorial article up.
