I'm a post-college student with a pre-vet biology degree. The first anime I remember is "Warriors of the Wind", and anime has enchanted me ever since.
My favorite anime are:
Anything by Hayao Miyazaki, such as Kiki's Delivery Service and My Neighbor Totoro. My favorite of all is Princess Mononoke.
Also, Vampire Princess Miyu, Oh My Goddess, and Visions of Escaflowne.
