A Parent's Guide to Anime
Rated: G
Suitable for Family Viewing

Comments by Akio Nagatomi:

The two subsequent reviews apply to the OAV series only. The TV series should be rated PG (Parental Guidance Suggested), due to some objectional content involving a cross-dressing police officer, and the situations it gets him with various members of the unsuspecting public. Several other adult-type situations are sprinkled throughout the series, though none are explicit, and is no worse that what's shown on regular TV.

Review by Walter Yoon:

[ 30kb ]

A sitcom-like story about two (unbearably cute) female highway police officers. Machinery and electronics are drawn EXTREMELY realistically. Little explicit violence, except for a few car crashes. No profanity, sex, or nudity. An anime suitable for family viewing. From the creator of Oh My Goddess!

Review by Julie Pfaffenberger:

You're Under Arrest! features some of the best animation I've ever seen; the quality and detail is amazing. The art alone makes this series worth watching! Funny and exciting; a definate Must See for the whole family.
