  Happy Canada Day! For those of you out in Quebec, happy belated St. Jean Baptiste as well. It seems like most of the changes will actually happen on the first of the month this time. Wow! In any case, while I will try to do changes around the first, I make no guarantees, real life does sometimes take precedence (as do golf games and travel...)

  In the meantime, the contest for May/June has now closed and the winner will be announced shortly. In the meantime, I've decided to make the following change to the contest rules. We will no longer be accepting multiple entries which are sent by simply hitting send multiply on the same day. While multiple entries are still welcome (especially if they have comments and suggestions!), I'm not impressed when I get 50 e-mails from the same individual all sent within 2 minutes. It just clogs up the mailbox and makes me unwilling to look at the rest of the e-mail for want of having to process too mail contest entries. (Ever wonder about some of the long e-mail reply delays? Okay, it's not the only reason but...)
